This adapter is a practical solution for UAE customers who have access to a Chinese GBT AC charger but want to charge a European Type 2 electric car. It helps connect the GBT charger gun to a Type 2 vehicle charging inlet safely and conveniently when the charger, vehicle, and adapter are compatible.
The adapter is intended for AC charging only. It does not convert AC charging into DC fast charging, and it is not suitable for CCS fast charging or GBT DC charging. Actual charging speed depends on the vehicle onboard charger, charger output, cable rating, electrical supply, and vehicle charging settings.

Important Charging Note
The adapter does not increase the vehicle charging capacity. The maximum charging power is controlled by the vehicle onboard charger, the GBT AC charger output, the available electrical supply, and the vehicle settings. Some Type 2 cars may accept 7 kW, 11 kW, 22 kW, or lower depending on the model and version.
