Type 2 to GBT AC EV Charging Adapter
Type 2 to GBT AC EV Charging Adapter is designed for Chinese imported electric vehicles that have a GBT AC charging port and need to charge from a Type 2 AC charger.
This adapter helps owners of China-spec electric vehicles in the UAE connect their vehicle to common Type 2 AC charging solutions, including home wallbox chargers, portable EV chargers, garage chargers, and selected public AC charging points.
The adapter does not convert AC charging to DC fast charging. It is intended for AC charging compatibility between a Type 2 charger connector and a vehicle with a GBT AC inlet. Charging speed depends on the vehicle’s onboard charger, the charger output, cable rating, and vehicle charging settings.

Important Charging Note
The maximum charging power is not decided by the adapter only. The actual charging speed depends on the EV onboard charger capacity, the Type 2 charger output, the available electrical supply, and the vehicle settings. For example, some vehicles may charge at lower power even if connected to a higher-rated charger.
Compatibility
This adapter is suitable for electric vehicles with a GBT AC charging port. Before purchase, please confirm the vehicle charging port shape and charging standard. If the vehicle has a GBT DC port only, or requires DC fast charging, this AC adapter will not be suitable.
